MARIA VASSILAKIS [bass]:

- Born in Athens,Greece (1968).
|
- Studied Classical Piano under P.Michailidou in the 'ATHAENEUM'
Conservatory of Athens and graduated in 1992 with honourary
distinction, the judges unanimously awarding her top marks and the
degree of 'First Prize'.
|
- Also studied Architecture at the Athens Polytechnic.
|
|
|
- Began playing the bass in '' 'ADIEXODO' ('DEAD END')''-one
of the first and best known Punk bands in Greece- between the years
1984-1985.
|
- Participated with 'ADIEXODO' in 2 trax contained in the
Greek Compilation LP called 'Disturbance of the Peace', released in
1984, consisting of the 6 top most Greek Punk bands.
|
- Joined DESPISE in 1988 as a bass player and together with
MAKIS started composing the music and
writing lyrics, including the 'State of Brutality' demo'93 and also
the band's forthcoming LP's mixing.
|
- Mainly contributes to the band's music orchestration.
